I was scrolling through my Facebook feed today and I was shocked to see this post.
Sara Largent, Co-Owner and Director of Marketing at Certified Professional Restoration, LLC, posted, "Great group of Networkers today. I heard a lot of referrals going around. Let's do it next week again!"
I commented, simply, to state the obvious, "no masks; no physical distancing"; and Sara Largent, who had been a Facebook friend of mine for years, promptly blocked me.
It appears that this is a Canton Chamber of Commerce Tip Club meeting at the Winking Lizard Tavern in Jackson Township.
As the rate of Covid-19 infections in surging in Ohio, this group of people got together and chose to ignore the statewide mask mandate; as well as to reject appropriate physical distancing of at least 6 feet. The only thing they did right, which we can see, is to not have more than 10 people at their lunch meeting.
The level of Sara Largent's ignorance is jaw drapping; a Director of Marketing is promoting irresponsible behavior; she chose to spread the word that this group of people is inconsiderate of others. It's shameful and inexcusable.
Other faces in the picture are familiar, but the other one I was able to identify positively is Tim Campbell, owner of The Mustard Man, Inc.; embarrassed to say he's another Facebook friend.
A short time later, Sara Largent's original post was no longer visitble. She posted this on the Canton Chamber Tip Club Group page:
